Internal Affairs is the second Nationals lasertag team that LazerStar Glendora has produced.

You may ask yourself, what is lasertag? Lasertag is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. It has established itself in Australia and Europe and the East Coast of the U.S. It is gaining a huge foothold here in the Southland.

Imagine yourself in a dark, blacklit mazelike arena. You are wearing a vest with lights on it and holding a laser handset, not entirely unlike the ones in Star Wars (except that this one works!). A voice comes over the sound system, "Let the Games Begin!" and the music begins to pound.

Looking around, you see a myriad of other players and you realize the only thing on their mind is the one thing that should be on YOURS! Shooting everything that moves while not getting shot yourself. Sound easy? Not likely.

About 15 minutes later you come out, shell-shocked, slightly dazed and COMPLETELY drained. You get your score sheet and find out how many people you hit and how many people hit you. Were you a target? Or did you hit more people than hit you?

Okay, you ask, what is LazerStar Glendora? Lazerstar is the 'Arena' where the sport is played in our area (Glendora). We play on a system called LaserTron (built by a company called, strangely enough, LaserTron, in Buffalo NY)

Laser Tron - our system. simple. robust. exciting. (Gee, do you think I like it?)
LaserQuest - one of the most popular systems around. (Personally, I like their arenas, but not their equip.)
Ultrazone - another of the very popular systems. (I don't like them much at all. Just my personal opinion)
LaserForce - probably the most popular system in Australia, and now they are trying to take over America. (DAMN those Aussies!!! ; )  ) GREAT system. Too bad they aren't where I am.
Although there are other systems out there, I won't list them because I either 1. Can't stand them (QZar, LaserStorm) or 2. Don't know anything about them (e.g. Darklight).

I wax poetic as you're waxing your legs....bnl
